The play unfolds in Marfa, Texas, where the main character begins to share their experience of being abducted by extraterrestrials with their friends. This beautiful work serves as a metaphor for the challenging situation in which nobody believes their abduction experience and the struggle they face in fully accepting their identity.
It was crucial to welcome and immerse the audience into this world at the beginning of the play, especially since the existence of extraterrestrial beings is mentioned. Utilizing four projection areas, I created an opening sequence using Unreal Engine to depict the journey from space to Earth, then to Texas Marfa.
