We presented multiple concepts to the Fusebox Festival committee, and two of our ideas were selected - Laser Mapping and Painting the House.
For the Laser Mapping project, we decided on the concept of dancing animals after much consideration. As the content lead, I took charge of the creative process by teaching the team how to create dancing animals. We utilized free 3D models, which we animated using Cinema 4D and rigged with Mixamo. I coordinated the collection of videos from team members and integrated them into a vibrant projection of festival-themed animals.
For Painting the house, The chosen location for our project was Ani’s House. This site holds significant value, not only for the family's history but also for the history of Austin. Ani’s House has transformed over time, from being a home to a hair salon and now a café, all while remaining in the same location. To reflect this sense of historical value and change, we also proposed Painting the House, where we would paint the walls of Ani’s House to visually express its rich history and evolution.
